Nachdem ich mich längere Zeit im Sommerloch aufgehalten habe, wird IRWEGK allmählich wieder aktiv. Heute mit zwei Hinweisen auf Texte, die für die Frage der Rettung der Welt aus dem Geiste der Kunst Material liefern:
1. Der amerikanische Literaturwissenschaftler Amir Eshel hat ein Buch geschrieben mit dem Titel: "Dichterisch denken". Das weist schon auf den Geist der Kunst hin. Ich habe das Buch noch nicht gelesen, aber es gibt eine Besprechung von Volkmar Mühleis, die hier zu finden ist:

After a pretty long summer break I am intending to start the activities of IRWEGK again. Today with two tips about textes that deals in some form and degree with the saving of the world in the spirit of art:
1. The american author Amir Eshel has written an essay about "Poetic Thinking Today". the title already indicates that this text has something to say about the spirit of art. I haven´t read this book yet but there is a (german) review written by Volkmar Mühleis that you can find here:

is an article of the italian performance artist and writer Andrea Pagnes. Under the title: "On Disability Culture, Performing Arts, Social Theatre and the Practice of Beauty" he writes about the role of so called disabled people in Performance Art. Saving the arts from old concepts and freeing the mind towards a broad sense of beauty!
